What is the Annual Meeting of Global Future Leaders?
Hundreds of emerging and established leaders in technology, entrepreneurship, science, policy and culture are gathering this week in Dubai for special conversations on what’s needed to shape a resilient and sustainable future: The Annual Meeting of Global Future Leaders (AMGFL).
The meeting, held in collaboration with the Government of the United Arab Emirates, is the first of its kind. The event is designed to serve as a recurring global platform, one that prioritizes intergenerational dialogues to address the world’s most pressing challenges.
More than 500 leaders are attending, including 150 CEOs and chairs, top voices from government, civil society and technology, and 50 young changemakers.
Additionally, AMGFL is featuring nine public sessions on a variety of topics, exploring timely challenges facing trade, AI, economics and youth perspectives. These sessions are livestreamed across the Forum's website and social media channels.

How do you make long-term plans when the next shock could upend them? That’s the question behind a session named “Economics after Certainty”, coming up on 14 October, as leaders consider how to make decisions when forecasts offer little reassurance.
Keeping trade moving is another pressing concern. “Trade In a Changing World” looks at how businesses and governments maintain connections across borders in an increasingly uncertain global economy.
And closer to the workplace, “Fair by Design” takes on the gap between commitments to inclusion and people’s actual chances of getting hired, promoted and rewarded.
On 15 October, attention turns to the next generation. “Reading the Youth Pulse” asks what young people already understand that other leaders may be missing, drawing on the Forum’s Youth Pulse report.
We’ll bring you highlights here, alongside conversations with people across the meeting.
