This New York Bakery Hires Anyone, No Questions Asked

Greyston Bakery has been in operation for 40 years. Supplying brownies to customers locally and beyond but that’s not all. Since 1982, the business has operated a strict ‘open hiring’ policy. Greyston’s founder, Bernie Glassman, was an aeronautical engineer turned Zen Buddhist roshi. Who wanted to relieve local people suffering from homelessness.
