This midwife cares for women stranded by drought in the remote Amazon

Tabita dos Santos Moraes has delivered more than 180 babies. She is one of more than 100 midwives working in the rainforest’s remote villages. Their skills have been handed down through generations of women. Today these midwives’ skills are in demand more than ever.
