Australia Announces Plan To Stop Species Extinction

Australia is famous for its wildlife, with more than 40% unique native species. But more than one in ten species have gone extinct in the past 200 years, and around 21% are currently under threat. Australia’s mammals have been hit particularly hard. The government is now taking steps to prevent further species extinctions.
