Susanne Klink leads UNHCR's strategic work on the socio-economic inclusion and self-reliance of refugees and stateless people across Europe, advancing development partnerships, policy engagement and system-level solutions that foster inclusion and sustainable development. With more than 16 years of international experience spanning UNHCR, IOM and GIZ, she has worked across Europe, North Africa and the Americas, driving initiatives at the intersection of forced displacement, development, inclusion and durable solutions. Her work focuses on strengthening the evidence base and business case for inclusion, enhancing the utilization and matching of refugee talent, and fostering partnerships that bring together governments, development actors, the private sector, NGOs, refugee-led organizations, and academia around shared solutions. She is passionate about harnessing innovation, collaboration and evidence-based approaches to expand opportunities for refugees and host communities alike, while contributing to more inclusive, resilient and prosperous societies.
