Rob Rashotte

Vice President, Global Training and Education, Cato Networks

Rob Rashotte is Vice President of Training and Education at Cato Networks, where he leads global initiatives focused on developing cybersecurity talent, advancing technical education, and helping organizations build the skills needed to secure the digital economy.
With more than 25 years of leadership experience in cybersecurity, workforce development, and executive education, Rob has worked extensively with governments, industry and academia to address the global cybersecurity skills shortage. His work has centered on creating scalable education ecosystems, professional certification programs, and public-private partnerships that strengthen cyber resilience worldwide. In 2025, Rob was invited to testify before the United States House Committee on Homeland Security on the state of the cybersecurity workforce, providing expert perspectives on workforce development, public-private collaboration, and the policies needed to strengthen national cyber capacity.
Rob is also a Doctoral candidate at Saint Mary’s University, where his research examines how board structure influences organizational cyber resilience, with related articles published by CSO magazine, InformationWeek and others.
