Komal Dadlani

Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Lab4U

Komal Dadlani is a biochemist with a Master’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Chile. In 2013, she founded Lab4U with the mission of democratizing STEM education and transforming the way science is taught and learned, leveraging smartphone sensors and AI. Komal has received several international awards, including the Cartier Women’s Initiative Award, Toyota Mother of Invention Award, and recognition as one of MIT Technology Review’s 35 Under 35 Latin American Leaders. She is also an Eisenhower Fellow, an Ashoka Fellow, a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum, was named one of the most influential people in Latin America by Bloomberg in 2024, and one of the 30 most powerful women in Chile by Forbes Chile. Her work at Lab4U has been recognized by HolonIQ as one of the Top 100 EdTechs in LATAM, awarded for global pedagogical innovation by QS Reimagine Education Awards, and listed among the 100 most impactful global education innovations by the HundrED Global Collection. Lab4U has also been internationally acknowledged by outlets such as The New York Times, Forbes, People Magazine, CNBC, and the BBC.
