Charles Pacini

Manager, Transforming Industrial Ecosystems, World Economic Forum

Charles Pacini leads the World Economic Forum's Transitioning Industrial Clusters initiative, a global network connecting more than 40 industrial clusters across 20+ countries. He brings together governments, industry, financial institutions and academia to strengthen industrial competitiveness, enhance energy security and mobilize investment in digital and low-carbon infrastructure, accelerating the transformation of energy-intensive industries.

Previously, Charles led the steel sector of the First Movers Coalition, a global alliance of more than 100 companies representing over US$12 billion in purchasing commitments. Working with companies and governments across more than 15 countries, he helped create credible market demand for near-zero emissions steel through corporate purchasing commitments and international collaboration.

Before joining the World Economic Forum, Charles spent nearly ten years at Crédit Agricole, where he advised on and structured financing for major energy, infrastructure and industrial projects across Europe and Asia.
