Sebastian Hallensleben

Founder and Program Chair, Digital Trust Convention

Sebastian Hallensleben founded the Digital Trust Convention and co-initiated the Montreal Memorandum. He convened the first European working group on the disruptive impact of AI-automated bots and content in 2021. Sebastian currently chairs the CEN-CENELEC committee mandated to develop European AI standards, and co-chairs the AI risk and accountability work at OECD. As Chief Trust Officer at Resaro, he works towards drilling down to ground truths about capabilities of AI systems and towards standards for measuring use-case-specific AI quality characteristics. - Previously, Sebastian headed digitalisation strategy at a large engineering association, advised the German government on research and digital policy development, and had technical leadership roles in telecoms and financial services. He holds a PhD in physics.
